He started his microfinance career with one of the first Microfinance Institutions in Mumbai and now has more than 15 years of experience in the microfinance industry. He has been a part of Unnati for the past 7 years. A graduate of RML Avadh University, prior to joining Unnati, Sandeep had worked with multiple microfinance companies such as Swadhaar Finserv, Svasti Microfinance, Hindusthan Microfinance, Centrum Microfinance, and Fullerton Credit. He has worked across varied verticals in the MFI sector, with work experience spanning across Maharashtra and Gujarat. He was solely responsible for setting up branches, hiring, and training teams across these geographies. At Unnati, Sandeep is responsible for the day-to-day functioning, business development, and monitoring of all the branches in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat.
